November 17th: Lucy has been working hard at the salon despite still recovering. She wants to be surrounded by all her friends and clients while she gains strength and heals. Kindness heals. :)
November 8th: Lucy finally received a good night of sound sleep. We are happy she is back!
November 6th: Wishing great energy to Lucy on her first half-day back to work. We are so happy you are a tough cookie! We missed you!!!
November 4th: She continues to heal and has a positive outlook on her recovery. Thank you for checking in on Lucy!
November 1st: Lucy states she is doing great and going for her post op appt with the doctor. She hopes to be cleared for work. She will be working half days for the first week. :)
October 31st: Lucy states she is doing much better and her strength is coming back. Great news!!!
October 25th: Lucy states she is somewhat better with no fever but still weak. The nurse is going to contact the doctor and get back to me later. Thank you for checking on Lucy.
October 24th:
Today she is still ill and the nurse said after 72 hrs she should turn the corner. Please continue to pray for her.
October 23rd: Lucy got her stitches out. She is still feeling sick.
October 22nd: Lucy is still not feeling better. Please keep her in your prayers. Thank you.
October 21st:
Lucy has had a rough several days. She has a sinus infection and is now on antibiotics. We hope she gets well quickly! She states her hip pain is almost at zero - good news!
October 18th: Today Lucy states she is not feeling 100%. Her throat hurts. My Physical Therapist has many years working with hip replacements and I am happy she is working with me. Overall the hip pain is much better. I am resting and working on getting my strength back. Thanks for checking on me.
October 14th: Lucy states: Doing better. Each day gets better. My physical therapy session went well, she had me doing a lot of walking up and down as well as my exercises (which I do 3 times per day). Overall I am feeling better and my appetite is coming back.:) My hip already feels better and my legs are the same length-Yeah!
October 13th:
Lucy states: Doing good. The nurse came today and said everything looks okay. My incision looks okay and my blood pressure is good. He will be there if I really need him and will take my stitches out in a couple of weeks. I am doing some walking up and down in the house but then resting for an hour. Thanks for checking.
October 12th:
Lucy caught up on her sleep at home today!
She thanks everyone that is helping and checking up on her. Her physical therapist visited and helped her perform her exercises.
October 11th:
Lucy is at home as of 5pm today. Thanks for checking on her.
From Lucy: I am to go home this afternoon.
First day was rough but it gets better every day.
October 10th:
Bill states that she is doing really well. They had her up again today for a short walk out to the hall and back. She did okay with it. She got a little dizzy so they brought her back. Other than that she is doing great!
After she had her room for awhile
yesterday they allowed her to walk down the hallway with the help of a walker.
Amazing, I think!

that she has a room.
As of 2:48pm hospital states she is still in surgery. Please check back later today for more info.
